Boy if this is gonna be the real deal.. bet there are alot of teams sighing with relief, Dayton isn't in the same district anymore  ;D *cough* BH *cough cough* them over there east of the Trinity  ;)

Well of course this is all speculation. No one knows what the heck the UIL will do. They are prone to doing very strange things, with no logical sense at all. Just saying ! LOL !

Makes no sense. Caney Creek is going to pass NC, Porter, and KP to drive another hour to go play several teams.  But then again Livingston has done it for several years now so who knows.

Does anyone know what kind of enrollment #'s Lake Travis turned in? Is it likely they will go 5-A?

yeah it doesn't make much sense to put porter and new caney in a district with Crosby and BH and send Dayton to the north. I suspect 19-4a will stay pretty close to how it is now, just minus a team.

I kinda thought the Ant Hill might wind up making the drive to our area this year. First time for seven teams as 21-4A.

[/quote]Well this realignment isn't the official UIL realignment. That one will be Feb.2nd. So there is still a possibility for that.

Honestly i think a Baytown to Humble district would be a ton of fun but that's just me. KP, Crosby, Dayton, (Humble/Atascocita 5a?), Lee, BH... now that would be a hell of a district. the 4 teams out of that would be battle tested.

Vidor wouldn't want that move ;) I can't believe after all of the beatens Vidor has taken from The Hill when we were 3A you still would call us the ant hill ;D We are Mount Everest to the Pirates ;D

Not really an accurate theory.  Everybody knows you can't use "we beat that team and you didn't, so we're better".  That doesn't work in sports.
