Un-Signed talent in SETX for 2012

Was 2nd Team ALL District "Utility" player as a JR. He has fast, sure hands, a quick release and some flair and confidence in the field. He is a contact hitter had only 8 K in 114 PA last year.

Not much action on this thread this year and I know we have plenty of talent in the area.  Give us the names and stats of any unsigned players that can maybe play at the next level. 


Some college coaches and scouts read this forum and maybe we can get some local kids into school with your help.

There is a big lefty out of Kountze, i believe his name is Travis Baines. Im not sure if thats his last name and I apologize in advance I dont have his stats. I just saw the kid pitch on a few occasions and he has a rocket of an arm. Supposed to be bumping high 80's low 90's! From discussions I had with a few folks he is just raw talent. He would be a work in progress, but if somebody was looking for a hard throwing lefty he is out there. Once again I dont have his stats and I dont know much about the kid but he is worth looking at.

Jacob Howell a Jr. 2011-2012, p/ inf he played for Deweyville ,don't have any stats. I know that he is playing for the Houston this summer, also he has a try- out for area code baseball in June.

I see where Jacob signed with the Lamar Cardinals, congrats and well deserved.
