stevenash Posted January 27, 2012 Report Posted January 27, 2012 Dove- would you be willing to post your personal list of 25?
Pfrezzi Posted January 27, 2012 Report Posted January 27, 2012 I agree with Preston, very good player who knows how to use his body, and a nice mid range jump shot,... Senior from Nederland Lubera couldBe on the list, picks up the scoring when Weisbrod or English are struggling (very rarely) and pulls down boards. As well as Chattman from memorial, great young player! :)
AggiesAreWe Posted January 27, 2012 Author Report Posted January 27, 2012 Made an adjustment on the list. Had a Coldspring player confused. Had wrong name on list with uniform #.Sykes is on list now.
rhino1877 Posted January 27, 2012 Report Posted January 27, 2012 AAW not a bad list at all.... can't please everyone and there are more than 25 teams around here. So every school will not be represented, but the names listed are some very good players and leaders.
BMTSoulja1 Posted January 27, 2012 Report Posted January 27, 2012 #12 on the list is Garrison Mitchell, not Garrett Mitchell.

Its going to really be a dogfight over there for playing time.

Looks like you will be able to keep your same coach because Central is having a good season ;)
HJ2012 Posted February 1, 2012 Report Posted February 1, 2012 Granted I have only seen the kid play twice, Zach English does not stand out to me as one of the top ten players in the area. He may not turn the ball over, but as from what I have seen, he is not that much of a threat unless he is posted up from behind the three point line. He is definitely not a better player than Zjori Bosha nor Devante Johnson, who I feel are probably top ten-fifteen in the area. What are your thoughts?

He shoots 8-10 FTs/game bc he getsfouled frequently while driving to the hoop. He's not 'explosive' like Prudhomme. He has deceptive speed, which allows him to beat his man when he has to. He is dangerous from beyond the arc, as you mentioned, but all 11 of his points last night were from driving to the hole.

Lazeek Posted February 1, 2012 Report Posted February 1, 2012 I notice two things that might need to be considered on the rankings. And I have not seen a tenth of the teams that AAW has seen. But there is no reason for Devante' Johnson (HJ) not to be in the Top 15, and in my humble opinion Chris Elam (Silsbee) has to be in the Top 6-7!!! Elam kept Silsbee in the game last night, and Johnson was the difference for HJ last night in getting the win.

He is likely the only person to see almost every team in SE Texas play.
WordMan2 Posted February 6, 2012 Report Posted February 6, 2012 Three worth looking at; Crosby's TJ STewart and LaChad Chatmon and Dayton's Tyler Reynolds
