PhatMack19 Posted January 26, 2012 Report Posted January 26, 2012 The PN-G school board voted to take legal action against the turf company. The turf is experiencing premature wear and district officials say the turf company is not honoring the warranty. Anyone heard of this?

The turf company said it had offered to come by and evaluate the field, but that PN-GISD never got back to them about a time. Don't know if that's true or not and honestly kind of doubt it is.This has been an ongoing issue. There were complaints about the wear on the turf within a year of its installation. I heard someone say that it wasn't designed to stand up to the extreme weather conditions of SETX, but I don't remember who said it and I honestly don't believe that.We'll see what comes of it. Hopefully the result will be a new field.

Memorial's turf and I believe that Beaumont ISD's turf was made from the same company and nothing is wrong with their stuff. I hope it's not vandalism.
