Bobcatfan4life
Without a doubt the busiest weekend ever on setxsports.com was this past weekend as there was plenty of hardwood action throughout the area with most of our teams involved in local tournaments. There was plenty of shakeup in both big school and small school rankings this week. The number one big school team stays the same as Memorial went a perfect 3-0 in the Central Tournament. Barbers Hill will jump 2 spots up to #3 after they went undefeated and won the Aransas Pass Tournament. For the first time this year we have a new #1 team in our small school rankings. The WO-S Mustangs fell to Lumberton on Tuesday and went 1-2 in the Nederland Tournament to go a disappointing 1-3 this week. Kountze will take over the #1 spot as they knocked off Lufkin Hudson on Tuesday and won the Big Sandy Tournament over the weekend with a 4-0 record there. Hardin-Jefferson continued there winning ways in Evadale as they won that Tournament with a perfect 4-0 record there including a big win over East Chambers and move into the #2 spot. Cathedral completely drops out as they went 0-4 last week and Woodville enters the poll at #10. Big School (4A-5A) 1. Port Arthur Memorial (7-0) 2. Ozen (7-3) 3. Barbers Hill (7-2) 4.
