WOS / Nederland end football series

Hate to read the news in Bob West's column. WOS will open with LCM and then play PNG for two years with both games at the reservation.

Yeah, the scuttlebutt is that WO-S will start out like this the next 2 years:

Week 0 - LC-M
Week 1 - PN-G

and Soulja, you have been asking for this one for a while:

Week 2 - Beaumont Central

I believe Ned and WOS are scheduled to scrimmage this year.

It just spoke of the WO-S/Nederland series.  We hope to get some of those non-district opponents and reveal what we find during the show on Thursday.

[/quote]That's good.  We played WO-S when we were in the same district and a few years after that in predistrict, so we are no strangers to them.  We also like to go against speedy teams.  It's a way better replacement for Galveston Ball.

Well, if Livingston is moved out of 20-4A and the district is left with just 7 teams, that will mean that all the district teams except for 1 will have their bye week during district play.

Something tells me that this district will remain with 8 teams, but not necessarily with Livingston included.

Like Grad stated, we will find out Thursday morning. Can't wait!!

Wos &Silsbee well prepare them for district as well, larger doesn't always mean better

I agree.  He still schedules teams that will more than prepare the Indians for 20-4A (or whatever it will be called after Thursday) and does so in a manner that secures one more home game than usually comes out of the arrangements and is much less straining on the PN-G athletic budget.
