(((RUMOR))) just a RUMOR.. I was told by a very good king source that Flanigan from Crosby and a coach from Texas City applied for the HC job.. said AD liked them both but might wanna try and hire from within... JUST A RUMOR though don't take that to the bank... but the person i talked to knows the king AD ;)

Flanigan did apply for the job. But it doesn't look like he's gonna get it.

Surely flanigan can find a job somewhere in the area.  He is a great coach.  Hardin is open!

King needs a strong leader to handle all the discipline issues over there.  The regime before COach Wilson had a firm grip on the boys and even though they did not win district every year- they competed, worked hard, and had class.  IF King was smart- they would hire somebody like the old OC or QB coach that is familiar with the community and the players they are dealing with.

He is a great coach and should be able to find a job, but I think he is over qualified for the Hardin job.
