ST413
Wow you have to go back to '08 to find a lopsided score. The one I remembered was the '08 seeding game. And both years that there were lopsided scores the series was split almost right down the middle. And the year each team had there largest victory, the other team won the regional final meeting between the two. It has truly been a great series since '07 with some great memories. STiger85
Get these numbers. Out of the seventeen games these two teams have played in 21-3A Silsbee has won 10 with HJ winning 7. Silsbee avgerage point in winning is 9.1, HJ is 9.0. These two teams where in the same 4A district a while back, I wonder what the scores were from that time? PoppaBearstarr
I remember a HJ SILSBEE match up in 05 or 06 in the championship game at the evadale tournament which HJ was victorious... I could be wrong... But it seems like I remember that
Guest speechless
HJ was down 17 in the first half of the Evadale tourney in the '04-'05 season and came back and won.HJ beat Silsbee at Silsbee the year of Hurricane Rita...game was played at junior high. Those were the only two times they played before joining the same district. BADSANTA
When Silsbee and HJ both were in 19-4A Silsbee average margin of victory was 25.5 ppg. Those HJ teams weren't that bad. Silsbee had 2 and some times 3 D1 players on those ball clubs. Holden, Airline, and Miller.

Silsbee and HJ will still be on top of this district, in basketball.

FanintheStands
AAW, I would change the title of this thread to, "Because someone asked me to..... and also because I love to show how badly Silsbee has beaten HJ in the past!" ;)Never pass up a chance to rub it in, eh? The game in HJ was closer. Like I said HJ wasn't a bad team that year. Had this kind of chubby kid who could shoot 3's like Reggie Miller. Do you remember him?
