You'll find all of the teams in these discussions are very talented.

BH is returning the player of the year in district play, has a solid pass defense and but the fact that they can't beat a certain set of teams, had a stellar season last year.

Dayton went the furthest of any team in either districts in playoffs, they will be very good this year, and they have a ton of talent.

Crosby of the 4 teams has the best backfield of any of the 4 and is very easily the MOST EXPLOSIVE (not necessarily better or worse) of any of the teams.

SC has a good QB good receivers and an ok defense. the reason i say ok is the defense hasn't gone through a truly difficult season yet. Dayton has been good in 2 districts with 2 sets of very difficult opponents. Losses to Willis and Magnolia west aren't bad losses but how much better of losses are they than Barbers Hill losing to the two fastest teams they played, seems like they had a bit of bad luck, they get matched up against another smash mouth team they probably would have beat them. They did beat Nederland the opposing district champ 13-10. Yet Crosby beat them, and Dayton beat Crosby... because in 19-4a coaching will matter a lot, so hope your coaches and our (new staff) are up to the challenge of coaching in a great district and we will see you on the field.....


p.s. no one has a tougher first 5 games than Crosby if we make it out of that 3-2 we are doing fantastic. wow.... Nederland/Willis/Dayton/bh/SC

I agree with Smoking Baby, Dayton's offense at this point is not impressive. There are individuals that display talent and flashes of what they could be, and I think will be. I have had the same concerns as a fan before, even in 08'. Things will tighten up and adjustments will be made, SC will find out why we are hated and respected.

Daytons backfield is weak. We have the same running back that took us to 6 playoff games and has started since he was a sophmore. Some of the comments on here are beyond ignorant. Also our qb hasnt played a full game at qb since he was a freshman. once he has a few starts he will be great. I would also like to know how many games smoking baby has seen sc play.

He has been on varsity since he was a sophmore. He has been the backup qb the last 2 years and was a starting receiver. All I can say is that he will have a great year you will see. Lets see whi has more total yards offense at the end of the year denny or chambers.

Two way different systems that would be like compairing apples and oranges ::) I'm sure he is a great athlete, but if he had the potential to be a great QB then I would think he would have had that spot over Hererra. I think he will be more valuable from his legs than his arm and decision making, but what do I know ;) Ned's D should give him a pretty good test this week.

I wasnt a big ah fan but he did throw for like 6000 yds in his high school career. I will agree that at least at first chambers ability to beat you out of the pocket will be his biggest asset.

AH just got the job done. He didn't look like a prototypical QB, but made good decisions with the ball and didn't break down under pressure. That is what makes BH's QB  a good QB! He runs that Offense and makes it look easy.

I think it's safet to say that most fans on here look at their team with (insert school colors) glasses on. Except for the few who don't have much to get excited about so they just spend their time insulting, making cheating accusations, lame jokes or just general annoying mischief.  ;)
