Dayton does not have serious athletes like us, I will admit the Football program is good in Dayton....but no flat out athletes like that, maybe a few, the McBrides are, and like I said before, we trained them, they are from here 8) 8) 8) 8)

Dayton beats a lot of good track teams on the football field. Dayton gets the most out of who they have. It's pretty clear that we don't have the flat out speed that SC has... no worries though. Dayton has a way of getting it done when they're out-athleted.

i don't know their team well enough to say either way. they definitely have some kids that are just as fast. My main thought is that our program just doesn't need any justifying/defending. The cody's and aj's don't come around too often, so I doubt they have any of those.

me and a buddy and our wives went to galveston fishing all weekend this weekend and saturday night we got to talking to our neighbor in the next beach house, come to find out they were from Porter. I told the guy I was from Dayton and he immediately called his son over to us, now this is where it got funny, He said son this guy is from Dayton didn't your coach tell you something about their football team and he said yes , he said next year Dayton and Barbers hill were going to be the teams to beat in their new district, he never said anything about Summer Creek, so i never brought them up...lol...true story! 8)

We just had one in jakari without his horrible injury he could have been the best running back dayton ever had. He was 200 lbs and ran a 10.6 100 meter. I know codys and ajs dont come around every year but to make a blanket statement that dayton has no athletes just shows me summercreek knows nothing about dayton football. This years team will be very athletic from our lineman to our linebacking core and it wont even be close at qb if where talking purely athletic.

Heck LCM had the fastest 100 m in the state (or close to it, went to state freshman and sophomore and junior year) and that didn't help them much at all. Ozen had the best 4x100 team in the area (went to state) and they barely snuck in at 4th place. Track? Really?  ::)
