Guest UHCoog14 Posted February 4, 2012 Report Posted February 4, 2012 The goose is cooked. That should end any playoff hopes.
Guest octfeb Posted February 4, 2012 Report Posted February 4, 2012 So does this mean dayton has secured a spot in the playoffs?

HowdyMan Posted February 4, 2012 Report Posted February 4, 2012 If you look at the remaining schedule it is still wide open for the fourth spot...Dayton is 6-5 right now but still has to play the top 3 teams in district, Crosby, King, and NF. They lost to all 3 the first time.GCM is 4-7 and still has to play Crosby, Barbers Hill, and Lee.BH is 4-7 and still has to play Galena Park, GCM, and Crosby.Galena Park is 4-7 and still has to play Barbers Hill, Lee, and North Forest. If Dayton wins 1 out of those 3 they will be in, in my opinion. GCM, BH, and GP will need to win 2 out of 3 just to tie Dayton. If any of those can sweep, they will be the fourth seed. I think a 6-8 team will make it into the playoffs. And if you really want to get complicated...Dayton split with GCM. Galena Park split with GCM. Dayton swept Barbers Hill. Galena Park split with Dayton. Barbers Hill beat GCM once and lost to GP once and still need to play both for the second time. Head spinning yet, yeah mine too! Good luck to Nederland in figuring out who to scout for the bi-district playoff game.
