asary
Well, it was one of those nights when it simply wasn't our night. Not many things went right for Nederland. Central played a better game. When you're on a winning streak 2 things are for sure. 1) every team is gunning for ya, 2) and at some point the winning streak will end. It ended tonight, and congratulations go to Central. Having said that, hold your heads high bulldogs, what you accomplished is something to be proud of. Our Nederland basketball community has come together AND GROWN because of what you have accomplished. Let the "pain" of this loss soak in, learn from it, and move forward. At the end of the day it is simply ONE loss. Begin a new win streak, and continue winning District Championships....and strive for your next goal of winning a Regional tournament. PROUD TO BE A BULLDOG!

stevenash
Far from the end of the world. The 17-6 Miami Heat lost to the 10-12 Milwaukee Bucks a couple of nights ago but things still look fairly bright for the Heat. Nederland will have a very good season and still has as good a chance to go far in the playoffs as anyone else in the area.
