Anyone following this story?  It sems that the coach was removed for yelling at players during a game.....Girls and community are in support of the coach. They are 21-9 overall and 8-0 in district.....Theres usually more to a story than meets the eye but if this story is legit the coach has been done a grave misjustice....community is saying real issue is with playing time with the school board presidents daughter.....Not saying who'se right or wrong but .if this is true the coach should get a book deal.

Have spoken to those involved...this is a crime against the coach at it's finest!  Perfect example of what happens when school board members are allowed to overstep their boundaries.  A school board's ONLY job is to set the tax rate, take the supt's. recommendations, and set policy.  It's a sad, sad thing when superintendents allow themselves to be threatened by school board members.

[/quote]Sad indeed...Maybe the coach should pursue legal action. If not stopped it could become more common....There's more people to consider than just the coach. Families involved, players etc.....

From what I know the bball coach is not the first victim....that would be the baseball coach a couple years ago.

Really a sad situation, this is one reason coaches are considering getting out of coaching for dealing with situations like this.  People can be more jealous, deceitful, self-centered, non-trusting, and cruel, than anytime ever before and effect so many people in the spin.  Sad.  God coaches, with parents and administration screwing things up.
