If they match up with Silsbee again this year, I don't see the Tigers beating them. It's all about match ups folks. HJ matches up well with all those teams because they have speed and size.

This region is stronger than I have seen in a long time and personally, I won't consider any playoff victory by anyone as much of an upset.

Look folks, lets not fool ourselves here..The ONLY teams IN THIS AREA with a LEGIT SHOT at winning their respective regions are Silsbee and HJ boys, along with Ozen girls...Now if ANY other area team even GOES to the REGIONAL tourney it will be a shocker, but even at that, reality will strike then without a doubt...Good luck to all of the area teams, but realize, it will be an uphill climb to get to Austin.

I would think that Silsbee would be MORE dangerous if they shot LESS three's...They have a crew of kids with some sweet mid range jumpers, and some heat seeking rack finders!! ;D...(translation: guys that can get to the cup!)

Ok  Fewer three pointers-  But with all the alleged extra  driving, do you think you might have an important player foul out or foul out sooner (not all drives are going to create defensive fouls)  Fouls are a very important issue for the Tigers and my guess is that, late in the game, they might not be able to afford to be that aggressive offensively

You talk as if, against HJ, they are there all day for the taking.  I don't think they are as readily available against that zone as you do.  You also assume that everyone is going to make those SMRJ and I also disagree with that.

Agree Nash.  The SMRJ is the most under practiced, lowest percentage shot in todays game.  If you ask most coaches, this is the shot they want to give to the offense if they have to give one at all.
