How's the 1A schools looking?

Prolly because of basketball .. alot of 1A schools don't have the players until basketball is over.

Big sandy and Sabine pass will both be competing for 1st in district Evadale on the other hand lost all of their starters except for 1 or 2 so this may be a rebuilding year for them.

Evadale lost everyone but 2    ? I thought they had most returning , I know Big Sandy has everyone returning plus 2 more good ball players that have moved back to the reservation from Oklahoma , that played there freshmen yr at BS, both will be a BIG help....I dont think BS has any Seniors on the team , mostly all JRs ... Like grizz says I think Its going to be between BS and SP this year....but dont count out evadale they always seem to make something happen.....GOOD LUCK TO ALL THE TEAMS IN 1a !!  Hopefully my hometown woodville eagles can make a run this year .

Well Evadale's reign as district champs will end this year. After losing Tucker, Franklin, Potts, Nichols, and Harvey they really don't have much left. Big Sandy will win district, with SP coming in second, and Evadale at 3rd.

dont count SP out just yet, they lost a few key players but still have 6 senior starters along with a few solid juniors

evadale also lost 2 brothers that moved across the street to buna. one of them would have been there Ace this year and the other would have been there best all around player

I'm hearing that High Island will not field a baseball team this year.  Sad days when you can't get enough kids out to play baseball.

Evadale's chances are just as good as BS or SP. They've got some returning starters and 2 or 3 pitchers with experience. Like i heard a coach say once, "we don't rebuild, we reload".

I hate to say it but yes, evadale lost pretty much everyone. Although they do have some athletes that can still do the basics and any team can have a bad game so it should be a exciting year for all.

Yeah I mean I'm an Evadale alumni and fan, but I don't see them winning district at all. They MIGHT beat Sabine Pass, but I don't think they even have a chance against Big Sandy.
