stevenash Posted February 8, 2012 Report Posted February 8, 2012 Mr. Prudhomme put on the best performance I have seen by a high school basketball player in a very long time tonight against West Orange. I think he had about 33 points and 4 or 5 blocked shots, several assists, and either 3 or 4 dunks. I can only remember one turnover. At one point, he scored 6 points off the press in about 10 seconds. Couple of colleges were there looking at him and I believe he helped his cause considerably.
Dick Vitale Posted February 8, 2012 Report Posted February 8, 2012 How many sweet mid range jumpers did he knock down? 8)
vcbasketball15 Posted February 8, 2012 Report Posted February 8, 2012 i WILL be going to see him play come playoffs. cant believe ive missed out the whole year. sounds like a heck of a player...
PoppaBearstarr Posted February 8, 2012 Report Posted February 8, 2012 Lol... I think he had 3... The dunks were massive..shattered the dunk-o-meter again.... That thing stay in need of repair more than its in service... 8)

FanintheStands Posted February 8, 2012 Report Posted February 8, 2012 He hit 1 or 2 3-pointers as well. And he almost drilled a whole in the wall with what was almost an incredible back door pass.
BigDaddy00 Posted February 8, 2012 Report Posted February 8, 2012 The kid is definetly fun too watch.. one of the best hs players ive seen play in a long time
asary Posted February 8, 2012 Report Posted February 8, 2012 Gotta love games like this, and players like this. Congrats on such a good showing.
Honest Abe Posted February 8, 2012 Report Posted February 8, 2012 Good for him. Whichever university he chooses will be fortunate to have him. He has impressed me every time I've seen him play. Easily the best player in the area, IMO.
BigDaddy00 Posted February 8, 2012 Report Posted February 8, 2012 His play reminds me a little of another player HJ had a few years ago, Trey Burrell.
PoppaBearstarr Posted February 8, 2012 Report Posted February 8, 2012 I love trey to death and loved watching him play... But Shawn is on another level...
FanintheStands Posted February 8, 2012 Report Posted February 8, 2012 I forget how good a passer Sean is. He's got a good head for the game on so many different levels.
BMTSoulja1 Posted February 8, 2012 Report Posted February 8, 2012 Yes, if he didn't have any sweet midranged jumpers, then he can't be a clear cut best yet. Lol
Lazeek Posted February 8, 2012 Report Posted February 8, 2012
Yes, if he didn't have any sweet midranged jumpers, then he can't be a clear cut best yet. Lol
Oh but he did......all from the baseline as well!!! ;) ;)
PoppaBearstarr Posted February 8, 2012 Report Posted February 8, 2012 The young man is phenomenal 8)... He has game on so many levels...

vcbasketball15 Posted February 8, 2012 Report Posted February 8, 2012 what colleges are looking at him?
Lazeek Posted February 8, 2012 Report Posted February 8, 2012 Several Southland, SWAC and too many to mention JUCO's. He has qualified academically to go to D1 schools already as well.

As he made his way toward the goal, I stood up and screamed to NOT dunk it and to pull up for the SMRJ but I guess he didnt hear me. He went ahead and made a thunderous dunk. Things turned out ok, though as that dunk failed to ignite a 33-8 WOS run.

If you have a clear path the basket, lay it up. That's right, 'LAY' it up. ;D ;D Didn't ignite a big run? :o :o :D :D
lamar73! Posted February 8, 2012 Report Posted February 8, 2012 My son has been playing with Shawn since Little Dribblers and it has been so awesome watching this guy mature not only as a basketball player but as a person. I watched last night with total amazement and the Lamar coach was sitting behind me burning up his phone up. Hopefully, he was texting Knight saying we need this guy. At one point he completely took over the game with 8 straight points several dunks that would make Dr. J slightly envious. Great kid and beyond basketball and I truly believe he will be successful in the real game "Life". Lov me some Shawn.
5GallonBucket Posted February 8, 2012 Report Posted February 8, 2012 How many Rebounds.....did he block out or did he just try to out jump people.
BADSANTA Posted February 8, 2012 Report Posted February 8, 2012 Shawn is a fantastic player! Good Luck in the playoffs. Just don't beat Silsbee.
Guest speechless Posted February 8, 2012 Report Posted February 8, 2012
How many Rebounds.....did he block out or did he just try to out jump people.
12 rebounds that he probably got by not blocking out and not playing hard and just out jumping people ::)
stevenash Posted February 8, 2012 Author Report Posted February 8, 2012 ;D That correct tongue in cheek response will go right over the heads of those for whom it was intended.
