dayton kicker

was named to 2nd team in cambells winter edition behind the argyle kicker.this includes all classes .

from what i have read the argyle kicker set state record for most fg in a season.

Carranco set the record and then the kid from argyle broke it. The kid from argyle played in three more games than carranco which helped him set the record. I beleive he had 3 more fg by the end of the year. Argyle got beat by wimberly in the state finals.

Carranco was a beast.  Knocked my NDNs out of the playoffs with his foot.  I'm sure colleges are taking a real good look at him and he's only a junior right?

Carranco set the record at 22 I think. The kid from argyle was behind him at that time but I dont know by how many but I do know carrancos record was broken over the last 3 games of the playoffs. Correct me if im wrong but the new record is 25. I also think the kid from argyle was a sophmore.

I hope they understand that he cannot kick without his regular deep snapper.  He had the same snapper on every punt, extra point and field goal.

I was talking about taking his own deep snapper to college with him.  Oubre is will be back with him next year.

Carranco's accomplishments are great but remember he had more opportunities due to alot of stalled drives.We were still lacking a big power back that can get 3-4 yds on 3rd down.Powell was a great kicker to but we were able to score more tds.All you have to do is the math on this past years rushing totals,lawd I'm glad we had Herrera throwing on the run then running for crucial 1st down yds.We will need to ramp up the run game and play solid defense this coming year ;)

John Gable nor his predecessor Michael Dugat were big but they were strong. By the way Gable is at ETBU, he started this semester. Looking forward to seeing him play again.
