I went to pull for my buds from Evadale and didnt see the Rebels play until the 4th quarter.  I'm concerned that the Rebs stand around alot and one of the best players on the court for Evadale goes to his spot and stands there.  I cant figure that one out.  Evadale finally started driving and making things happen but again, only in the 4th.  The team from Big Sandy just seem to want this one TONS more the Evadale.  If Evadale beats West Hardin then it will be a tie at the top and played on a neutral court.  Evadale took game 1 by 13 and Sandy took this one by 15, so may be a good one.  I will however sit on the Sandy side, was very shocked by a few of the Evadale fans!  I think 2 were asked to leave the gym by a DPS officer.  That's very "un Evadale" like for those folks.  Usually some of the best fans in around.
Anyway, congrats to BS on a very good showing...Game 3 to follow!

BSjust wonted this one more.. They had several trips down the floor and had 3 and 4 off boards. There is no dought that #3 for Evadale is the best player on both of these clubs, but the rest of the Evadale team has to step up their game. Thats the biggest differance in this yrs team compared to last yr. You had to play 5 on 5 to stop them. Tonight BS set out to stop #3 and make the other 4 beat them and they just did not step up to the job. Last yr team also droped 1 Dist. game that they should have won, and that lost woke up that team, Lets hope that this does the same for this yrs team.And as far as the fokes being as to leave the gym, If the one ref would have payed as much of attention to the kid from BS holding on to #3 EVERTIME he tryed to get free, As he did to the lady in the stands It would never have come to them asking her to leave. Funny Ever time Evadale goes to BS they have to get pass the HOME TOWN COOKING by the refs. Not saying that the Refs cost them this game, They just got out played, But it would have made a difference if the kid had not been held ALL NIGHT.

Yeah some of the evadale fans got a little carried away , but when you start making fun of the Indian culture that is pretty low , only a few was doing it , the fans that got kicked out was not the ones doing it

Yeah we know what your talking about when BS comes down there for the HOME TOWN COOKING !  At least it was called both ways.  The kid just played solid defense on #3 he might have got away with a few holds but the Rebs did to .

I'm ready to watch when the rebs really get rolling and the whole team has a good game. If they can just get rolling then they'll be unstoppable. And y'all keep watching for their #3 to have a good game bc when he does, and he will, it'll be magical. But he isn't the rebs only threat. You also got their little point guards who will take you to the rack in a flash then if that don't work they can ditch it either to #40 or #24 or #11 and let them do work. They may not be very big but they are quick with a bball. They just gotta get going. Just wait for evadale,  they WILL have a break out game.

I was thinking that same thing lol better happen soon. And about the fans for evadale, my lil bro was at the game and he told me last night that they had 2 people get kicked from the gym and still was taunting BS but hollering like "indians". Sadly enough it wasn't kids that was doing it but it was adults from what he was telling me.

I don't care if you're going to rip the refs but when you have to stoop that low and go at a 17/18 yr old kid, then you have problems. GROW UP! It is a game and you are making yourself look like a fool, absolutely ridiculous. No excuse for that, be an adult for once. That makes me sick

Well I was also at the game, and for some reason BS is the only gym that I have been in that the home fans set all over the gym on both sides, All the Evadale fans set together on the VISTOR side and the BS fokes just came and set around them :o :o So in a big game that ment so much to both sides you get tired of the other team fan taking trash beside you. If the Indians and white fokes from BS dont want to set together on the HOME side They need a bigger GYM or put up a wall on the HOME side. As for anyone hollering like a Indian, Just how does a Indian holler???

I don't know the answer to that, but my dear Mother (rest her soul) used to tell me to quit running through the house and quit hollering like a "Wild Indian."  If I could remember I would replicate the hollering sound. ;D

Ok first off I didnt realize I would have to break this down like this but here you go blue: The indian holler I was referring to was the indian war-cry that you yourself heard not only at the game but in every Indians vs Cowboys game you ever played as a kid..I assume you're an adult. And as far as getting a bigger gym, that's not something that a school just up and decides "Hey we need a bigger gym let's get one." I remember that gym evadale had before they got the one they have now and it was smaller than BS's.

ALSO, there is absolutely no problem between whites and indian at Big Sandy. Not only do those kids show absolute class at home or on the road, they respect one another regardless of race and that goes for the fans as well cause 90% of them, both white and indian, went to school at BS. My little brother's best friend is an indian kid.

LASTLY, just because there were fans trash talking, unless it was directed at the kids on the floor, there is ABSOLUTELY NO REASON to mock the indian culture like that. I couldn't believe it when he told me, to stoop that low and go after the kids you've got problems. 1. It is a game. 2. Act like an adult. 3. Set an example. pitiful

Like I said I WAS AT THE GAME and the Evadale fans were all together, I never heard 1 person Holler LIKE A Indian.. But If the Indains and White are so close in BS, then why do the Whites set on the Vistor side and the Indians on the home side??

You should know how a Indian hollers , you were at the game ! Some of evadale fans were doing it .. No BS fans said anything to evadale fans that was on that side ... Only thing I seen was a few lady's getting frustrated with the refs , what really p----- me off was when the boy and the 3 girls started making fun of the Indians !!  ( very obvious )
