No, I didnt think that I should go to Sour Lake because they were good in basketball and my kids would definitely participate. PLenty of other reasons. Basketball not the main determinant of most peoples lives even though a few think life begins and ends with it.

For one....smaller class size more time for one on one instruction.... I do understand your logic however...but you grew up inner city I'm guessing, some people prefer a more rural setting, small town feel where everyone knows each other... When they do go to a a smaller town sometimes it's instant rockstar status....

Basketball paid for my father's college education, my brother's, and mine too...I can tell you that growing up in my home, it was a great thing, but basketball wasn't the ONLY thing...With that said, I know why some families move to rural areas, heck, I LOVE living in SE Texas..Its a great place to raise my family...I don't disagree with you about that one bit.
