I am a huge supported of Don Price, but I am puzzled as to why he is trying to move on from Hamshire so soon.  Seems a bit early to jump ship.

hamshire i obably about a 70,000 dollar job and CE king just paid lydell wilson 100,000. would you take a 30,000 dollar jump to switch from the good year plant to the chevron phillips plant???

Unlike the masses I have seen Coach Price coach for several years. He could prove me dead wrong, but he was supposed to be the one to turn HF around and didn't do any better then the previous staff. He will have more athletes to work with at CEK I'm just not sold that he was as good as a coach as some say.

I imagine he included his coaching record from the other schools he coached at rather than just go off of his HF record. ::)

[/quote] This is a very legit question. What would a coach say to get a 4-A JOB  coming from a 3-17 record, in 3-A? oKAY, even if he includes his older records, what would one say to *excuse* his 3-17 record? Its a legit question.

He should say, "if I get this job will you all be providing the car alarm and bullet proof vest"?  "Not that it really matters, I have insurance and my real goal is to get as far away from Orange, Texas as I can".  Besides that, it's the only way Don Price will ever see an artificial field.
