Were you at the game BD3? Lowly team hardly defines what Dayton showed last night. Speaking to others who watched them 2 months ago, they are a completely different team than they were then.

I know, I saw your posts, and I wanted to agree with you. But I also don't like the taste of crow, so I kept quiet.  ;D I predicted a 22 point victory based on what others told me. However, the team who showed up last night had vastly improved since December.
Luckily we woke up in the 4th Q!

IMO, Dayton had this game won until #10 decided otherwise. It was like everyone was waiting for someone else to step up, all game long. Zack English is perfectly capable of scoring 20+ EVERY game. He is too unselfish. Watching him in the 4th qtr of this game is a perfect example of what he could do every game. I would like to see him in every game
with a scoring mindset that he had in this 4th qtr!! I think this team is looking for that type of leadership.

Great assessment! He IS too unselfish. This team DOES need a leader if they want to return to Katy next weekend for the Regional Tourney. #12, Hanley also stepped it up. He looked very confident, and gave them a much needed spark as well.

Uhhh, no! Nederland played a near-perfect 4th Q. So, I will stick with my original statement. Zero turnovers, 3 steals, 2 blocks, & 4 offensive boards. Ned shot 3-4 from 3-point land (the only missed 3 was put back in  and shot 4-7 from FT line (not great). You weren't there, so your opinion has no cred! :o
