Dayton obviously was a better team than some people gave them credit for...on that note great job Dayton for giving 20-4a district champs a fight, and great job Nederland for the big W!
Well said and, in my opinion, very accurate.  I watched Dayton play 4 games in early December and they are considerably better now than they were then.
Or maybe Nederland isn't as good as they were earlier. THEY way they played Dayton certainly opens up the thought process.
Then your thought process is that Dayton is no better than they were and Nederland is worse?  How does one arrive at that conclusion?

What I have learned is that fans just want to hear the good news about their teams. Every team or player has weaknesses. We read or hear about it starting in college so maybe high school is still off limits. Playoff time is the beginning of a whole new season. What teams beat who last month makes no difference now. I mean c'mon, Nederland almost lost to a team that won't be able to spell p-l-a-y-o-f-f for the next 3 years in a watered down UIL playoff system. ;)

It is so funny to watch you run nederland down for winning a playoff game and a district championship yet HF wins a playoff game against a very below average team and you call it a great win .  Remember........Nederland was the equal to HF in basketball 5 years ago or so when English arrived.  I can promise you this much.........if HF is winning district and playoff games consistantly 3 or 4 years from now we won't be able to hear the end of it from you.  Yet what Nederland has done is no big deal :o 8)

Make up your mind BD..........the path you want HF to take is the path Coach English has led Nederland on!

I dont know, Soulja.  I still get pretty mad/upset with you whenever you try to tell me how much better a SMRJ is than a dunk.
It is better.  It's your best rout to getting to play d-1 college ball and a shot at the NBA!  8)

Plenty of good shooters who have no chance whatsoever of ever being in the NBA and little if any at d-1

So does it also open up the possibility that the Ozen girls are beatable after trailing 22-2 & 28-5 Tuesday night against Huntsville? They've been dominant all year, yet it looked like they were going down. They made the appropriate adjustments, and i assume they were the better team, or Maybe they are not as good as they were earlier either?? "The way they played HUNTSVILLE certainly opens..." It just shows that anyone can be defeated on any given night, and that's why the game is played....

Of course it does...against Yates, one of these teams may score first or take a brief lead, but eventually reality will set in and that 40 point+ shalacking will occur! ;) ;)..Sometimes its just inevitable... 8)
But you fail to realize that the Ozen team has been coming back against (strong)teams and win by double digits.....big difference in analogies.  ;)
