Jacob kind of got off to a slow start at the plate. Big Time College Baseball jitters, I guess. A few more 2 for 4's and he's right back on track. Go for it, Jacob. Steven Avery
Looking at the stats from the season as a whole, the Horns can not hit once again. I do not understand why augie does not recruit more big hitters. Small ball is fine but you also need some studs in the lineup. Next up I see they play HBU which appears to be better this year. PhatMack19
#18 Texas is off to a slow start with a 4-7 record and will probably drop out of the rankings this week. They have played a really tough schedule so far which will only make them better at the end of the season. If they can get it figured out offensively, they should be fine for conference. In the past they could win a game 2-0 or 3-2. Just not that type of team this year.Tx Tech is a legit contender in the Big XII. Solid pitching and the top of their order is loaded with speed. French has pitched in 8 of their 11 games out of the pen. They are just not there right now. Not saying they will not get there, but it's not looking good.
