Texas Longhorn Baseball 2012 (30-20, 14-10)

UT defeated UT Pan Am by a score of 9-5 on Tuesday.  Beaumont Kelly's Landon Steinhagen was 2-3 with 2 runs scored as the DH. 


The Horns have a 3 game series vs California this weekend at Round Rock.

Texas took 2 out of 3 from Texas Tech this weekend to improve to 7-2 in conference and is tied for 2nd with A&M.

Ut beat Texas St tonight 2-0.  Felts was 2-3 at the plate with an RBI.

Texas managed to win game 3 to avoid getting swept by Baylor.  They should make a Regional, but will need to play better to advance in the post season.

Texas is by no means a "lock" for a regional berth. With a current RPI of 50, they might need to win the Big XII tournament to get in.

They are, however, still the Longhorns. That always gives them a chance.
