Nelson was originally named to the squad, but opted not to play.  I think Singleton and the RB made it clear that they were not going to play before the team was even named.

Miller decided not to play for personal reasons is all i've heard but that was from a guy on the team. The only PNG guy playing is Romero.

I imagine we will see a number of guys outside of the position that we normally associate them with.

Well, this is just speculation, but I imagine that after a hit during the Coldspring game caused him to miss a good part of baseball season, Matt took the prudent approach not to subject that shoulder to any further injury before heading off to Baylor.

As for Chase, it may just be that informed either Coach Faircloth or the game organizers that he would opt out of the game.

I guess what I am trying to say is that just because they are not on this roster doesn't mean that the organizers didn't want them to play.
