LCM goes undefeated and will challenge for that district crown in 4A. Silsbee, Jasper and Bridge City have good showings this weekend.

Congradulations to the Bears. Wonderful way to start out the season. Going to be a difficult tourney in Brenham.

No, doubt....

Brenham- reigning champs of the region for the last 3 years & currently holds the record for most state titles, with 7.

#7 Houston Lamar- a large 5A school, that is #7 in the state.  Lamar has won this tourney for the last 3 years.

LCM- Always a threat, and a perrinial power year & year out.  Sounds like the Bears are off to a great start.

#3 Santa Fe- they enter the tourney as the #3 team in the state.  They took us to game 3 last year in the 4th round.

Lufkin- Don't know much about them, other than they are 5A.

If that's not enough, on the other side of the bracket, there is #3 The Woodlands, Montgomery, Texas City, Bryan and Bryan Rudder.  Should be a great tournament!

No doubt this will be a test for all teams.
