Interesting that only one from Bridge City and one from WOS were on the all district teams but three from Silsbee made it.

Atleast they are not watered down. I also thought Burton had a good year but she kind of faded a little once district rolled around. Maybe that had something to do with it. But I did think she should have gotten something. Maybe she got honorable mention.

Who went to the playoffs in this district?

Burton probably wasn't the only one not nominated from OF.  You also had some players that stepped it up when district started who were not starters but in top three scoring wise during district. 

HJ, HF, and OF went to playoffs from this district.

Like I said before, In the past atleast 99% of the starting five of each team made All District. In the past it was so watered down that every kid got a ribbon. Atleast the coaches are going back to a somewhat "Old School"  of picking All District. Can someone post the Honorable Mention so we can have a clearer picture? Will not comment on the Silsbee picks.  ;D

[/quote] Its not the norm for the dist. champs not to have the MVP. And in this case.......it should have been from the HJ squad after watching numerous games in this district.

It's a starters world doesn't matter what you do coming off the bench.  You could be in top three scoring for your team but if your not listed as a starter  and probably not nominated then no one knows about you.
