STiger85 Posted February 23, 2012 Report Posted February 23, 2012 In the second game today for Silsbee the Tigers will take on the Vidor Pirates at 3:30. This will be Vidors first game today. Silsbee and Vidor have played five times since 2007 with Vidor winning all five games. The Tigers won their first game today defeating the Jasper Bulldogs 8-5
STiger85 Posted February 23, 2012 Author Report Posted February 23, 2012 After 4 Silsbee 6 Vidor 1. I got the wrong score a while a go
lionbaseball Posted February 23, 2012 Report Posted February 23, 2012 Vidor starting the season 0-2 isn't the start they imagined I'm sure.
utfan1982 Posted February 24, 2012 Report Posted February 24, 2012 Losses to Westbrook (a game in which they lead until the end) and Silsbee, both of which are tied as the #7 team in the rankings, is nothing they will hang their head over. While you are correct in saying its not the start they would have imagined, it will not be indicative on how their season will pan out. Im sure they will tip their hats to WB and the Tigers for being the better team at that time and get back to work with three more games left to play this weekend.
lionbaseball Posted February 24, 2012 Report Posted February 24, 2012 No doubt they lost to two good teams and with playing 25+ games a year two losses is no reason to consider that's how the whole year will go.
mytwocents-28 Posted February 24, 2012 Report Posted February 24, 2012 Need your prayers for Pitcher Nick Foshee who injured his knee today in a collision. We hope its not a tear but doc ain't giving no hints at what it is.
