There were plenty great plays that game, but the one that stood out IMHO was Sammy Mitchell drawing that charge.  You know his life had to pass before his eyes when he saw that freight train coming at him!

Oh I agree slam....2 on one, you knew Jones was not going to pass the ball, Sammy played it perfectly...It was so awesome to watch him hustle, get position, and draw the charge....GREAT JOB SAMMY!!!!!!!

Yes that kid was a beast, He had probably a foot on Sammy in height and probably outweighed him by 100...

And the guy Sammy took that charge on gave a verbal commitment either Thursday or Friday to play football at UT.

RSJ for Sealy was the truth!  I expected a big bruiser just bull-dozing his way to the basket.  Not at all.  He is strong around the basket, but he has a nice pull-up jump shot and can finish on the break too.  I was impressed.

He got in foul trouble, and it exposed the fact that Sealy was not that good around him.  I liked #25 the medium-sized shooter; he played well.  Other than those two, not much.

HJ played just OK in my opinion, but it was well enough to beat a ranked team by double-digits.

Silsbee/Brookshire Royal was a good game too.  Loved the double-header.

I heard as a receiver.  6'6 WOW!
[/quote]

Played receiver to begin the season, but was then moved to QB.  I heard 6'5" but still a pretty potent individual to try and stand in front of to take a charge.

Potent would not be the word.  This kid is a beast.  Best part about it is the kid never said a word.  One of the best behaved kids that is being recruited at this level that I have ever seen.  I wish this kid the best and I predict he will do VERY WELL!
