Spoke with Preston's father.  He said Preston has been released from ICU and there is an outside chance he may go home today.  He is still on the road to recovery.  With severe concussions, every day brings new challenges.  Preston is ready to move forward and is hopeful to get back on the diamond soon.

His parents wanted to express to everyone how humbled and appreciative they are for the enormous outpouring of care, concern, and prayers everyone has communicated to them directly or through school officials.  They are touched by the kindness and generosity of the people in SE Texas.  They can never thank everyone enough.

I spoke with Donnie this evening, Preston is home and doing great!  Looking forward to returning.  Can't wait to see him on the bump!  Glad you are recovering Preston, don't rush it.
