What about the small school poll?

I am Wondering about a smaller school being in the top 5

1. LCM
2. PNG/BC
3. Barbers Hill
4. Westbrook
5. Nederland

::) SETX better watch out for Brenham... (but you already knew that) Even with all of the new faces, during our rebuilding year, we expect to make it 4 straight regional titles.

I have been impressed with LCM, PNG & Barber's Hill though.  I can't wait to get a close up of LCM this weekend.  They will be challenged by some of the state's best teams.

1. Barbers Hill- Talented on both sides, offense and defense
2. PNG- Solid squad with a very underrated pitching staff.
3. LCM- Fundamentally sound. A good showing in next tourney will solidify them as a legit contender.
4. Nederland- Extremely deep and tough throughout the lineup.
5. BC-Handling a tough early season schedule very well without 2 main players recovering from injuries.

No disrespect to any other schools, I have not seen everyone play yet. I will give some others a nod of recognition for sure because they will certainly be in the mix.

Silsbee- They can swing the stick and have some top shelf pitching.
Vidor- Good athletes that seem to always find a way to be in every game.
Orangefield- New coach getting it done with young pitching staff.
