I gotta admit, I was a little scared when he got his 4th.Great heart, Hawks!!!!
I know one that in no way should have been called - especially by the out of position ref that called it.

I shouldn't be surprised considering which referees officiated.

The mark of a champion is that, even when your stud is not producing what he normally does, others step up to the plate!!!!27 points!!!! "Here we go again" is what a lot of teams would be thinking. No, these kids kept on fighting. Good effort by the Rattlers.
stevenash Posted March 1, 2012 Report Posted March 1, 2012 Do you think they knew or believed that losing 4 in a row did not help or hinder their chances one iota?
FanintheStands Posted March 1, 2012 Report Posted March 1, 2012
Do you think they knew or believed that losing 4 in a row did not help or hinder their chances one iota?
I'm sure they all knew that the last 4 games had nothing to do with last night's game. There were probably only 1 or 2 players that had ever played HJ in the play-offs (I think Sean P and maybe Joe P were HJ's only ones with experience against Navasota). But, when the chips are down, its easy for those nagging thoughts to resurface.... "Here we go again. Same song, Fifth Freakin' Verse"!.... The key is to bury those doubts even deeper.
