tpriddy Posted February 27, 2012 Report Posted February 27, 2012 The Shockers 99 (12U) team competed in its first tournament of the year and their first ever 14U tournament in Houston and placed 4th out of 12 teams. The girls went 6-2 on the weekend only losing to the TX Warriors out of the Santa Fe area. The girls battled hard all weekend against the cold weather and good competition. Keep it up ladies. :)
gtshocker10 Posted February 28, 2012 Report Posted February 28, 2012 I was very impressed with each and every girl this weekend. We played hard and battled back down 3 and 4 runs for wins. Never once did we hold our heads down, we just stepped it up another notch. Our defense was awesome and our bats are improving everytime we play. Great start to the spring season and keep up the good work. I'm very proud of these girls.Go Shockers 99 :) ;D
