ScienceTeacher Posted February 27, 2012 Report Posted February 27, 2012 Baseball in SETX is well underway and i'm curious to see if there are any pitchers that have dominated their games. Any numbers on total strikeouts??
Critter Posted February 27, 2012 Report Posted February 27, 2012 Not sure if you get to many replies on this one.... Kinda like asking about Stolen Bases, so team want to keep this a secret as long as possible. But I can tell you that BC doesn't have a pitcher with more than 3 innings in a game thus far.
JUSTforYOU Posted February 27, 2012 Report Posted February 27, 2012 I don't know how it could be much of a difference from the Homerun forum?

They are usually pretty deep at all spots and this is just conservative play by a smart coach.

Who knows maybe someone will answer this threads question.
blacksheep Posted February 27, 2012 Report Posted February 27, 2012 Jannise has 23. No big deal or anything
OLDGREGG Posted February 27, 2012 Report Posted February 27, 2012 No its really not a big deal monotone. Johnny Franklin from buna has 22 in 9 innings...and he is a freshman...

You should take a lesson in sarcasm from your boy franchise. He's got it nailed down pretty good.
bbk3451 Posted February 28, 2012 Report Posted February 28, 2012 Jannise now has 32 and Franklin may have 22 but he also has 2 losses. Strikeouts look good but i'd say the win column is a little more important
Franchiseball Posted February 28, 2012 Report Posted February 28, 2012 How many pitchers does HF have? What class is Janisse?
bbk3451 Posted February 28, 2012 Report Posted February 28, 2012 Jannise is a junior and they have 4 true starters and great relief when needed
Franchiseball Posted February 28, 2012 Report Posted February 28, 2012 Why did Ky Walker leave if HF was gonna be this good
bbk3451 Posted February 28, 2012 Report Posted February 28, 2012 Because there is no way he would start in the field. Hf's infield is loaded. And the outfielders are all a great combination when the right people are out there
Franchiseball Posted February 28, 2012 Report Posted February 28, 2012 Wow y'all are way better then what I thought then ..... I haven't seen either game
TLB0 Posted February 28, 2012 Report Posted February 28, 2012
Because there is no way he would start in the field. He has been with the PNG varsity and thats a night and day comparison.
bbk3451 Posted February 28, 2012 Report Posted February 28, 2012 I'm sure he would make it but he would pitch, dh maybe, and possibly play outfield. There is just no where for him in the infield
killingmesmalls Posted February 28, 2012 Report Posted February 28, 2012
Because there is no way he would start in the field. All three outfielders pitch, so somebody has to play out there when one is pitching. I am pretty sure Walker would have been on varsity, just not sure at what position. Would have been nice to have him as another pitcher...
HF Bball Posted February 28, 2012 Report Posted February 28, 2012
Why did Ky Walker leave if HF was gonna be this good
FOOTBALL!!!!! Ky is a football guy. Great baseball player, but, his heart is in football.
bbk3451 Posted February 28, 2012 Report Posted February 28, 2012 Well yeah, more pitching is always better ;D

He is a better baseball player anyway. If he gets any offers from anyone they will be on the DIAMOND not on the Grid Iron.
forum Posted February 28, 2012 Report Posted February 28, 2012 Don't bash the kid. He didn't make the decision.
Franchiseball Posted February 28, 2012 Report Posted February 28, 2012 Ky is a great kid and athlete hard for me to believe he couldn't play somewhere on the field
killingmesmalls Posted February 28, 2012 Report Posted February 28, 2012 Not bashing Ky, or the fact that his family decided to move. At least they did it the right way ;), not like BlueDove :o!!!!!!
TURN2 Posted February 28, 2012 Report Posted February 28, 2012 BEEN AROUND KY NOW FOR A FEW WEEKS AND HE IS A CLASS KID ON AND OFF THE FIELD. DOES NOT ACT LIKE A FRESHMAN. PNG IS LUCKY TO HAVE HIM.

I don't know why yall would think a kid would reflect hf's program anyways. Like already stated he would have more than likely made varsity but would have never got much of an opportunity to play. He would have pitched, but that may have been all. He is really good and will be very good as he matures in png.
