They have made a lot of improvement. Going to be another interesting year in 21-3A.

I know it is a little cliche to say that anyone can be beat, but to stretch it and say that HJ will consistently beat these teams is an exaggeration in my opinion. ;D

I agree.  Everyone has talent like always, but I don't see them beating HF or OF. Just my opinion

Definetly understand why HJ is under estimated. I mean they went 5 and 21 for a complete season and 0-10 in district. But its a new year, which mean new players and a great new coach that knows what he is doing. They are 4-1 as of right now. starting strong staying strong is how i see it. keep it up hawks. show em how its done. gotta love the under dogs.

No. Maybe when this freshman group is seniors. They have a pretty good incoming 8th grade group.

I got to watch most of one of HJ's games in Lumberton tournament, and they appear to be much improved from last year.  They are better than WOS (starting 4 fresh and 3 soph) and will compete against OF and HF.

Nice to see someone you penciled into a summer league game have some success as a Head Coach down the road. Congrats on great start for the hawks and Coach Erickson.
