PhatMack, great job with updates. thanks.  Concerning #2, sounds like either Fontenot, Sanderson, or LaSalle may be able to step up, but the D needs to get rid of the Es.

What about Weisenbro? I hear he can bring some heat.

Actually the 2011 PNG team started the season on fire.  For whatever reason they sumped at the first of district and then had to figure it out to get a playoff spot.

Oh ok...  I thought it was before district too.

Bid Ned will be just fine.  There are pitchers out there and the D will get it together before district.

When you play strong competition, you need to rise to the occasion.  Don't let the pressure get you out of your game.

Play your game.

He is still in basketball, and from what I have heard is not playing baseball this year.

Any word on why he isn't playing?  I think he could definitely help this year, especially if Duplant is no longer with the team.

I'm not sure.  I agree, another arm and a power bat never hurts.

I heard that he wasn't playing and then the latest I heard that he would be playing when basketball is over.

bulllll winklne and pngpurple....

Talent is talent.  The kid has talent whatever sport he plays.  Sad for you, your kid doesn't or you don't.  Then again, you probably don't have a kid playing any sport or you never did.

The Dogs will be fine whatever, whoever plays on their field.

I happen to know the kid and like the kid. He is a tremendous talent. He will not be playing baseball so he can concentrate on basketball. I was just bringing a little humor to the subject. So I really don't know what your point is dog1987.

Good for you to acknowledge his talent. Sometimes you can't tell intent or tone on the board.  Just seemed tacky to make a joke of a STAR Nederland athlete.

You must not have a kid in any spotlight in a high school program.  If you did, you might have a little more couth. 8)
