Tonight, the Big Sandy Wildcats continue their trek toward state as they take on the Milano Eagles in a Class 1A, Division I regional quarterfinal from Madisonville.  Big Sandy, the 25-1A, DI district co-champs and #1 seed, advanced to this game with a 77-60 area round playoff victory over Holland on Friday night.  Meanwhile, Milano, the district champs from 27-1A, DI, advanced with 80-58 area round victory over Burton last week.

The winner of this game will face the Port Aransas/Medina winner on Friday at New Braunfels Canyon H.S..

Was a good game for both teams.  Milano jumped out early and I thought it would get ugly for BS, but they regrouped and put Milano in a bad spot.  BS did a good job on Milano's big guys, but they just wore them down as the game progressed.  Good luck to Milano in the regional tourny and congrats to BS on a great season
