softball2011 Posted March 1, 2012 Report Posted March 1, 2012 What are the projected 1,2,3 or at least top 3 in general, of pitchers for teams in this district. I know Buna is likely Walden, Franklin, Clark. (no particular order) I just don't know many of the kids names and I'm curious.List your team if you know it, or think you might know, I realize things are still being evaluated, but I wouldn't mind watching some good match up's this year even if it is not against Buna.
sport1971 Posted March 1, 2012 Report Posted March 1, 2012 Koutze...have to say...Colby Price, Travis Hoke, Austin Marshall, Phillip Simon. Three guys from the Left and One guy from Right.

mccktown Posted March 2, 2012 Report Posted March 2, 2012 You can throw McCoy in there for Kountze also.

sport1971 Posted March 5, 2012 Report Posted March 5, 2012 you are 100% right McCoy is a great pitcher he is in mix for sure!
softball2011 Posted March 6, 2012 Author Report Posted March 6, 2012 Hardin's #1 is definitely Dylan Williams (junior)...who are their other starters???
baseball 25 Posted March 6, 2012 Report Posted March 6, 2012 Brandon Downs(Senior) and Jameson Estep(Soph.)
Home Town Hero Posted March 6, 2012 Report Posted March 6, 2012 buna will have the best staff in the dist, Franklin will more likely carry this load
OLDGREGG Posted March 7, 2012 Report Posted March 7, 2012 I doubt he carries the load but he will be a big part of the pitching. Walden and Clark did their thing last night. The load will be evenly distributed
softball2011 Posted March 7, 2012 Author Report Posted March 7, 2012 Buna has three legit starters now k Clark is healthy(walden and E Franklin). 2 ready arms in Kelly and Patrick and 4 more that can be called on to fill gaps if need be in Richardson Cleatus Yoes and J Clark if they need a good change of pace. Still got to hit to win. Can only put one pitcher at a time on the mound. Team has the potential as do a lot of teams. Time to start becoming a team and start having fun.
Home Town Hero Posted March 8, 2012 Report Posted March 8, 2012 Cletus is one of the top pitchers on the team he just aint got no speed but he has more junk than anyone one else, he carried a pretty big load last year in evadale
whsalum Posted March 8, 2012 Report Posted March 8, 2012 I don't know what they have to go with him but the tall right hander from Deweyville is as good as anybody I've seen in this district for several years. On any given night he could beat anyone in the district.
SteelerCzy Posted March 8, 2012 Report Posted March 8, 2012
I don't know what they have to go with him but the tall right hander from Deweyville is as good as anybody I've seen in this district for several years. On any given night he could beat anyone in the district.
J. Howell, junior for Deweyville is the number 1 followed by senior Ty Bickham and junior Blake McHenry. J. Howell is an exceptional talent, sky's the limit for this young man.
Walk off Posted March 8, 2012 Report Posted March 8, 2012 Howell can definately pitch. Don;t know the name but, the kid that threw for Warren was flat nasty. More movement and called strikes than I've seen in a long time. If you missed the Warren / Deweyville game, well, you flat missed it. Best pitching duel in years!

Wheel House Posted March 8, 2012 Report Posted March 8, 2012 The kid from Warren was #2 Watts, a junior with a very live arm.
softball2011 Posted March 14, 2012 Author Report Posted March 14, 2012 so is Watts Warren's number #1 pitcher?, I thought everyone was saying they had major velocity??? The kid had heart last night but he didn't have any gas....who else pitches for them??
bjimbo Posted March 15, 2012 Report Posted March 15, 2012 kountze is going to be nasty...mark my words...they know what is expected!!!
softball2011 Posted March 22, 2012 Author Report Posted March 22, 2012 So where are we now??? With each school??
