Matt Yeats of the Texas Wildcatters is the RBC Financial Group ECHL Saver of the Month for November.

He won his last five starts to finish November at 8-1-2 with goals-against average of 3.16 and a save percentage of .918, helping the record-setting start that has the Wildcatters sitting in first place in both the South Division and the American Conference.

In his first start of the month, the 6-foot and 188-pound Yeats made an ECHL season-high 53 saves at Columbia on Nov. 3 and posted back-to-back wins against Gwinnett, the first-ever wins against the Gladiators, on Nov. 10 and 11. He entered the game on Nov. 17 in the third period with the Wildcatters trailing 5-4 and stopped six shots as Texas forced overtime and earned a point. His only loss was 6-3 on Nov. 4 at Gwinnett after he made 27 saves after entering the game with two minutes remaining in the first period and Texas trailing 3-0.

He begins December with a 10-2-2 record and goals-against average of 3.05 and a save percentage of .908, tied for the league lead in wins while ranking fifth with 788 saves.

Yeats was 21-7-5 with a shutout and a save percentage of .895 while ranking 20th in the league with a goals-against average of 2.97 in 35 regular season games with the Idaho Steelheads in 2005-06. He was 2-3 with a shutout and ranked 19th in the Kelly Cup Playoffs with a goals-against average of 3.33 in five postseason games for the Steelheads.

In his first professional season in 2002-03, Yeats helped Atlantic City win the ECHL Championship going 4-1 with a shutout, a goals against average of 2.42 and a save percentage of .896 in eight Kelly Cup Playoff games. The 6-0 and 181-pound Yeats was 23-16-8 and tied for third in the ECHL with four shutouts while finishing with a goals against average of 3.01 and a save percentage of .896 in 48 regular season games with Atlantic City. He also played with Philadelphia of the AHL going 1-1-0 with a goals against average of 2.67 and a save percentage of .902 in two games.
