Obviously HJ's weak schedule and Silsbee's stronger schedule were all for *naught* based on our theories. ;)
stevenash
Yes- either the schedule theory does not apply or the difference in schedules was not nearly as large as previously portrayed even though the theory sounded impressive.

Master T
What is Coach Sigler overall record in Silsbee and overall record as a HC AAW? Also can you tell me Coach Sutherland record both at HJ and overall also?
Lazeek
1) If a player played high school ball as an 8th grader....the ONLY way you can do that is if you are too old to play 8th grade ball which means his birthday HAD to be AFTER the sept. 1st deadline or he would have been playing high school ball illegally2) If a player played high school ball as an 8th grader due to being too old then that means as a senior he will be too old to play because of the same Sept 1st deadline

ST413
UIL athletic participation sheet states the abovementioned age rule but only states a player may not have enrolled in ninth grade more than four years from year of participation. Nothing limiting number of years eligible. Maybe its there somewhere I haven't found on this phone but not in that sheet

BADSANTA
Chris Will be of age for his senior year! All of you HJ supporters don't try and run this kids name in the street as if he will be 28 in high school. He will be able to play football and basketball with no problem. Also look for a few fresh faces in Silsbee next season! Sorry HJ, you will go 0-2 vs Silsbee.

December 2012, yes, but if he that were the case (Dec. 2011) Then he would have been eligible to play 8th grade ball, in which apparently he was deemed too old so he had to play up as an 8th grader. stigers12
I guess you'll all just have to wait and see whether he takes the court next year! Silsbee will be better next year than they were this year.
ST413
I dont know about the 8th gade issue but age is not supposed to be an issuef from other statements. Now the issue seems to be number of years of high school participation. The only statement on the athletic participation sheet pertaining to that states you can bout have enrolled in ninth grade more than fours years prior.
