Are 'REAL' HS hoops played on the lower classifications (1a or 2a)?

[/quote]I watched in spurts. I saw some good players. The level of play is different from 5-a top teams.

Its all real. It's diferent at different levels, you may have one "star" player at the lower level, where the upper levels may have 5 of them. You think Kountze doesn't play real basketball ?   

So the posters on this board are you "real" ? Or just a fake poster...

This is just like asking if a defense shootout ending in 3-0 or 6-0 in a football game is better than a football game that has both teams putting up 50+ each. Its a pointless question and there is no way to figure out the "right" answer.

But IMO i would rather watch a small school battle there hearts out than a big school.

Don't think I saw Yates run a set play the entire game?!  ??? But that's 'real basketball'?  ??? ::) ::)
Watched a lot of real bball all day in the college ranks, and this game showed no signs of that style of play, which many refer to as 'real basketball'.  8)

I'll give you entertaining and a big WOW factor throughout the game. I wonder if these kids can run an offensive set when they go to the next level when they will be forced to play 'real basketball'?  ;)

Grayford's Zack Tabor had a game and tournament high 43 points. Zack was 19-23 from the free throw line and also grabbed 15 rebounds."

Now which one of these were playing "Real" basketball???

I played 2A in the school year and played against the best AAU players in the nation during the summer.  To say small school isnt "real" basketball, is not very intelligent.
You could actually make the argument, except for Flower Mound in 5a, that 4a and 5a (this year)do not play real basketball.  No question tonight that Fort Bend had better 1 on 1 players and they just got beat by a team that sales out on defense and EXECUTES on offense.  Fort Bend never ran a play, and I wont even bother with 4a, that is such a disaster, both Kimball and Yates are known to gain players illegally and it looked liked an And 1 mix tape. The only good thing about that game was Yates got beat, but Kimball is just about as bad at recruitment as Yates.
Does the game speed up?  Yes.  Can some 1a-3a players play right along with them?  Yes. 
I would say in 1-3a there is more stratagy involved than in the higher qualifications, except for Flower Mound, and that is why they have been there 3 years in a row and won it twice and there coach has been there 5 straight years. 
And to answer your question of who people would rather watch, small college or large or NBA.  I know many people that do not watch NBA ball and would much rather watch the Division 2 and 3 National Finals.

Ask Joseph Young (Houston), or Darius Gardner (SFA), if they can run a set....They run offensive sets ALL OF THE TIME, and move the ball better than most teams....are you kidding me? ::)
