badndn
He aint going nowhere for a while. He has to get his recruits and win. Also if he leaves now and fails again at a Major he is done. Gotta stick around a while and build a steady winner first.
AggiesAreWe
Knight will be at Lamar minimum 4-5 years. I wouldn't be surprised if he sticks around for at least 8 years.
Huggie
Maybe Lamar will offer a dual role in Basketball and Head Football coach ;D
ForeverADog
Don't think he's going anywhere for awhile but stranger things have happened.
Huggie
Hope he does well on the recruiting side, he seems to have the motivation side down "Pat".

Saying that he recruited all of these kids to LU. Just proves that Roc can recruit, and Pat can coach!!!!! 8) 8)
ForeverADog
Roc has a good chance at getting into the tourney himself at South Florida. They are right on the bubble.
navydawg31
I think Knight will stay for awhile and build a program up. Hopefully a dynasty with several Championships and a few wins in the big dance

coachacola
South Florida plays California after Lamar plays Vermont so that should give our players extra motivation to win. As far as the question about pat knight, of course he'll be back next year. No way does he bail on his first class of recruits. He still has a lot to prove and with his own players. How long he does stay will probably depend a lot on how successful he his and how well Lamar takes care of him.
Ewert
Pat Knight will be here at least one more year, then be hired by Oklahoma. ;D
