So I say 2001 Ozen By far that Startin 5 all got D-1 scholarships

That Yates team was good, but was no match for the 2001 Ozen team...Mike Thomas & Albert Marshall were the starting guards and Chappell, Dabney, and Breckenridge all came off the bench! Yates had no answer for the big fella and that group of guards would not have been affected by the Yates press. They were THAT good...

I knew those three for sure thought it was two more but i played against them my junior yr and they were all of that...only reason they didn't win three in a row that yr was because of anthony jones he was a cancer to their team that yr IMO

Should have more than just "chances" lol. If they keep coach Wise they should win state, as long as their talent pool is still somewhat decent, its inner city Houston so that should not be a problem. In a school like Yates in a very, I guess "tough" area like the third ward, when a great coach gets his hands on one of those teams and gets the kids disciplined, you can do some great things, the talent in Houston is ridiculous but a lot of the teams aren't very disciplined, but lucky for Yates they don't have that problem.

Personally I saw the Yates team of 09-10 and the 02 of Dallas Lincoln.  I would say that Dallas Lincoln would be the best team I have ever seen.  I might be wrong but I think Lincoln had 6 D-1 players that year.  With Bosh, I think they could have beaten the 09-10 team of Yates.  But of course that is all hypothetical.
