No! Lol, we would be Liberty still same team but 4A, LOL, there was one kid on HD who could have played for Liberty and 1 kid maybe 2 on Hardin who would have played so we take Kale Rives and Chisholm Marberry and then go to 4A??? Definetly not

I agree this year and years to come theres not a whole lot of talent there but years prior to this year i would have done it in a heartbeat there were Lots of talent from all of these schools that could have easily competed at the 4A level

That's the all time record for Liberty vs BH, so IDK about "so many" jokes. BH would beat Liberty now, I'm not saying that Liberty would win, but when Liberty had the numbers BH had and had to compete against them, BH was never a problem.

First - NEVER GONNA HAPPEN - as Hardin and HD have too much pride.  From a pure financial position HD really does need to merge with either Hardin or Liberty as their tax base has just about disappeared. 

TexasMinuteman - hope you were joking as neiter HD or Hardin has been a "dominate" program lately - Hardin had 2 or so years in football but lately will the record speak for itself.

[/quote]H-D ISD does well for itself, the towns of Hull, Daisetta and Raywood combine to be ok. Also having an ExxonMobil pipeline/storage facility in Daisetta helps. As far as being dominate in football, even with H-D being down the last 5 years or so, we still have been just as productive or better than Liberty.

Devers is the Wild Card. If you add those athletes to the mixture there would probably be multiple state championships to talk about in the next few years.

I believe they can pick where they want to go.  No matter the athletes if any usual go to the better program that year, and then if the season isn't good they go to the next school.

Devers doesn't have many athletes. Most go to HD, some come to Liberty, never enough to actually impact us, well not on the field at least, Trent, Tristan, and Trey Riley and Tevin Mouton were all very good basketball players from Devers, Trent, Tevin and Tristan started on Liberty's varsity for one or two years, and their are girl athletes from Devers who play for Liberty also, only one that I can think of, last season all district point guard, and one of the fastest girls on the track team, Shafaa Guillory, and then in 09 when Liberty was actually up on HJ in basketball in the first round at halftime that team was led by a guy from Devers names Steven Guillory who was one of the best basketball players to ever come through Liberty.

[/quote]Alicia Mallet from Devers to graduate of Liberty in 2007. Started all four years in Volleyball and Basketball also was All-District 7 or 8 times combined from the two sports. Participated in Track and Field as well for her Senior Year and made a big impact. Anchoring all three relays to Regionals.

Wow Liberty beat hardin by 40+.....  so did West Hardin.  and West Hardin got 3rd in Daisetta's district and wasn't even close to 1 and 2.  The top 4 teams in hardin's district hung 50 on them...

Trust me...Liberty should feel lucky to be in that weak 3A district (other than colspring, huffman).  We'll see if you feel the same way after 1st three games next season
