Guest UHCoog14 Posted March 28, 2012 Report Posted March 28, 2012 It's sad that the other athletes have to feel the wrath of other schools because of Yate's classless basketball coach.

mustang Posted March 28, 2012 Report Posted March 28, 2012 Oh my God! I've never seen 36-0 in baseball!
football Posted March 28, 2012 Report Posted March 28, 2012 They should show class even if Wise didn't. BEANBALLS AND HARD FOULS WOULD STOP SOME OF THE LACK OF CLASS!

BrenhamFan Posted March 28, 2012 Report Posted March 28, 2012 I'm all for it. I feel the same about all sports. It's the coach's job to coach his team to perform their best. He can't control the other team.
SFA85 Posted March 28, 2012 Report Posted March 28, 2012 If I were Yates or any other school that struggles in baseball, I'd drop it. Just like Lee(Houston) doesn't play football. No big deal. It's baseball....

Don't think brains plays a major part as some would think.

BLUEDOVE3 Posted March 29, 2012 Report Posted March 29, 2012 No, not at all. I was speaking of competition between mids and majors

The mids usually get blown away. Or is it the same in baseball too?

Two 15 seeds won in the tournament this year, VCU went to the final four last year, and butler was in the National Championship a couple of years ago.I would say that the competition between mid-majors and large D1s is about equal in both baseball and basketball.Besides none of that has anything to do with Baseball being a thinking man's game.
BLUEDOVE3 Posted March 29, 2012 Report Posted March 29, 2012 Thats my point! The competition is about equal in baseball- Someone said baseball was more of a "thinking game" (in comparison to basketball).

jenks Posted March 30, 2012 Report Posted March 30, 2012 Hopefully yates can hang on to their players and they don't loose them to other schools since they have droped down.
