Honest Abe Posted April 1, 2012 Report Share Posted April 1, 2012 DV-It all depends on the circles in which u hang out with and what part of Houston (or any other city for that matter) in which u grew up. It's NOT the final word until someone CHOOSES to stop discussing it. If FACTS are important, then Houston is clearly a more Baseball leaning city based on the number of professional athletes who grew up in Houston compared to basketball Pros (even if u calculate the difference for 12 players on a basketball team vs 20+(?) on a baseball team. Clearly, I'm not a baseball fan, but it is much more popular. Basketball is definitely on the rise however as seen with more year round tournaments and flat out exposure.
