PhatMack19 Posted April 2, 2012 Report Posted April 2, 2012 It looks like Baylor has figured some things out since losing twice to Lamar. Their 3 series sweeps were against 3 of the bottom teams in the league, so look for them to come back to the pack some.Whoever the Baylor AD is needs a HUGE raise. He somehow has Baylor as the top athletic program in Texas and one of the top 10 in the country in all sports.
Bear Country Posted April 2, 2012 Report Posted April 2, 2012 Mizzou is a team that can hit the ball. They will give most teams in the conference a lot of trouble. I went and watched Baylor play against Lamar they didn't look that impressive must have figured something out.
PhatMack19 Posted April 2, 2012 Report Posted April 2, 2012 PN-G's Austin Stone picked up his first college win for Baylor against Ok St. on Sunday. He came in with 2 guys on in the top of the 13th and got the last 2 outs leaving the runners stranded. Great Job Austin!

Bear Country Posted April 9, 2012 Report Posted April 9, 2012 Anyone else shocked that Baylor is 12-0 in conference so far??
PhatMack19 Posted April 9, 2012 Report Posted April 9, 2012 Baylor with a 3 game sweep of Mizzouri to improve it 12-0 in conference. They still have the tough part of their schedule coming up, but 12-0 is hard to ignore.

PhatMack19 Posted April 16, 2012 Report Posted April 16, 2012 Baylor does it again with a 3 games sweep of K-State. They had 2 great comebacks this weekend to stay unbeaten and now have won 18 straight games. There may be something truly special about the way this team finds ways to win. The polls have them ranked 17th in the country and are slowly starting to take notice.

They got swept last weekend by OU after being the hottest team in the country for the last 2 months. The will still win the Big 12, but are not heading into the post season on the right foot.

That clinches 2nd place for A&M and should assure them hosting a Regional in College Station.
