PhatMack19 Posted April 2, 2012 Report Posted April 2, 2012 The best golf weekend of the year IMO. Who wins?
PhatMack19 Posted April 2, 2012 Author Report Posted April 2, 2012 OddsTiger 4/1Rory 5/1Phil 8/1Field 12/1http://www.vegasinsider.com/golf/odds/futures/
ST413 Posted April 4, 2012 Report Posted April 4, 2012
Give me the field.
definitely the best bet. If Tiger ha s his putter working, and keeps hitting it like he has been, he will be very tough to beat.
AggiesAreWe Posted April 4, 2012 Report Posted April 4, 2012 BUMMER!!Par 3 contest was canceled today due to weather.Really enjoy watching it, loads of fun.
td Posted April 4, 2012 Report Posted April 4, 2012 I was there to watch the Monday practice round and there were alot of people there. If you ever get a chance to go, do not pass it up. Last year was my first time and I saw the Thursday round. Course is way more than you can imagine. The azaleas have already bloomed this year but I did get to see them last year. We were walking up to #16 as the guy skipped it across the water for a hole in one. That is something to see.

td Posted April 5, 2012 Report Posted April 5, 2012
How much are tickets?
Tickets are only $50 a day for practice rounds. Actually the same for tournament rounds but the badge is for all 4 days. The travel and the stay is what gets you. It's worth every penny. The course is what I wanted to see. You can see the golfers at the Shell Houston Open. Don't get me wrong they are fun to watch but the Masters experience is what I enjoyed the most. I think it's in May you can put your name in a lottery for practice rounds and even tournament rounds some years. Other than that you have to buy tickets from someone. Can't walk up and buy tickets. Good luck!

PhatMack19 Posted April 5, 2012 Author Report Posted April 5, 2012 It's definately on my bucket list. I'll get there one day soon.
PhatMack19 Posted April 5, 2012 Author Report Posted April 5, 2012 Tiger is -2 and playing pretty solid. Henrick Stenson is the leader at -6.
PhatMack19 Posted April 5, 2012 Author Report Posted April 5, 2012 Stenson with an 8 on 18 to lose the lead and finish -1. Wow!
PhatMack19 Posted April 5, 2012 Author Report Posted April 5, 2012 Tiger with a bogey bogey finish to end up at even par.
PhatMack19 Posted April 5, 2012 Author Report Posted April 5, 2012 Phil is +4 through 12 holes. Not the start he was looking for.
baddog Posted April 5, 2012 Report Posted April 5, 2012 McIlroy @+1. Still a lot of golf to be played, but I'll stay with Rory.
PhatMack19 Posted April 6, 2012 Author Report Posted April 6, 2012 Freddy Couples and Sergio are -5 on the day and one shot off the lead. McIlroy is -4
baddog Posted April 6, 2012 Report Posted April 6, 2012 Just got home. McIlroy tied for the lead @ -5. If Tiger can catch up, maybe he and Rory can be paired for the final round. We already know that McIlroy is not intimidated by Tiger.I also like Keegan Bradley. Hope he makes a move.
baddog Posted April 6, 2012 Report Posted April 6, 2012 Rory makes bogey to go to -4. Lots of golf left.
