Yeah Capin. The last 8 YEARS. Let's look more into the past 3 or 4 perhaps. Yes kville made it to state a couple of years in a row...but those athletes are long gone now. You would of had to follow this district to understand this....with that said. Anahuac lost a MAJOR part of their success with Barbays leaving. It's gonna be interesting to see anahuacs plan for next season.

E.Chambers has a lot of talent coming back.
Newton has a lot of skill players returning and will field a big line with mostly sophmores next year. Newton will be better this year.

Kirbyville will be better and they have some big kids coming up.

I think this district will be going several rounds into the playoffs, esp. E. Chambers and Newton.
I guess we will find out the second and third district games when Newton plays Kirbyville the second dist. game and then plays E. Chambers the third district game.
