bullets13 Posted April 9, 2012 Report Posted April 9, 2012 figure we should have one for them, too ;)
Ty Cobb Posted April 9, 2012 Report Posted April 9, 2012 Not a bad start to the 2012 season, taking 2 out of 3 from the White sox. Mariners come to Arlington tonight and Yu Darvish makes his debut. Won't be able to watch this one because of work. Someone keep me updated.
ForeverADog Posted April 10, 2012 Report Posted April 10, 2012 Darvish really labored through that first inning. Walking a lot. Maybe just nerves.
bullets13 Posted April 10, 2012 Author Report Posted April 10, 2012 after giving up 4 in the 1st, Darvish gave up only 1 in his final 4 2/3, and retired 10 or 11 in a row at one point. i can understand the nerves, and the way he bounced back makes me excited. in line for the win in spite of his poor start to the game.
bullets13 Posted April 12, 2012 Author Report Posted April 12, 2012 Rangers with their second loss of the season, and Joe Nathan has both of them... not real pleased right now. they should be 6-0.
Ty Cobb Posted April 18, 2012 Report Posted April 18, 2012 The RANGERS gave boston a 18-3 beating tonight.
bullets13 Posted April 19, 2012 Author Report Posted April 19, 2012 up 6-2 in the 8th, well on their way to a 10-2 start. the rangers are playing amazing so far... two bad outings from nathan away from being 12-0!
Ty Cobb Posted April 19, 2012 Report Posted April 19, 2012 Need to get this one tonight. The RANGERS go to Detroit next then host the yankees and rays. Not the easiest part of the schedule.
Ty Cobb Posted April 20, 2012 Report Posted April 20, 2012 The RANGERS take the series opener against detroit 10-3.
Ty Cobb Posted April 22, 2012 Report Posted April 22, 2012 The RANGERS win 3-2 in 11 innings today. Get the winning run home by the squeeze. TEXAS takes the series 3-1. The yankees come to town starting Monday for a 3 game series.

bullets13 Posted April 22, 2012 Author Report Posted April 22, 2012 pretty incredible stat: through 16 games, the rangers have allowed 4 runs in 3 games and 5 runs once. the other 12 games they've allowed 3 or less.
Ty Cobb Posted April 23, 2012 Report Posted April 23, 2012 It's almost unbelievable that we are talking about the RANGERS and their pitching.
jenks Posted April 23, 2012 Report Posted April 23, 2012 Rangers are playing like they have unfinished business.
westend1 Posted April 26, 2012 Report Posted April 26, 2012 Rangers at it again. Up 4-0 over Yanks in 3rd
Ty Cobb Posted April 29, 2012 Report Posted April 29, 2012 The RANGERS and the rays have split the first two games of the series. Game 3 today. Could this be a early look at the AL Championship series?
Ty Cobb Posted May 4, 2012 Report Posted May 4, 2012 Going to cleveland to take on the indians. Gotta stop the 2 series losing streak.
Ty Cobb Posted May 11, 2012 Report Posted May 11, 2012 OK, the RANGERS stop the series losing skid at 3 by taking 3 of 4 from baltimore. Seems like they are hitting the ball well and it couldn't come at a better time with the angels coming to TEXAS!!!
jenks Posted May 12, 2012 Report Posted May 12, 2012 I truly hope they win it all this year. Now is their time!

Ty Cobb Posted May 13, 2012 Report Posted May 13, 2012 Yes, I know what you mean. I don't consider oakland or seattle as threats. The angels have started slow but they have the tools to be a serious contender. They will get hot somewhere throughout the season, I just hope the RANGERS have a big enough lead to hold them off.
Ty Cobb Posted May 14, 2012 Report Posted May 14, 2012 Nelson Cruz just hit a grandslam to give the RANGERS a 6-2 lead. The annoucers started talking about the TEXAS line-up. In my opinion this is, not only, the best line-up in the league but also the best line-up ever!!! The only true argument that I get is the reds, Big Red Machine. I'm 35 years old so I haven't seen as much baseball as some. Is this truly the greatest line-up ever?
Speedkills Posted July 9, 2012 Report Posted July 9, 2012 52-34 going into the all star break with 8 all stars and 4 games ahead of a peaking Los Angeles Angels of Anahiem team things seem to be looking good for these guys at this point. From a pitching stand point things are looking much better at this point than I personally believe anyone expected. With a team ERA of 3.72 that ranks third in the American League behind the Oakland Athletics and LA Angels. Matt Harrison up to this point is 11-4 with a 3.10 ERA, Yu Darvish 10-5 with a 3.59 ERA not to mention 117 K's. Offensively Hamilton has hit 27 Homers(Tied for first in MLB), knocked in 75 runs(1st in MLB), And an OPS of 1.087 (Third in MLB). The rest of the rangers bat are sort of quiet to this point other than Beltre 326 Average, 15 Homers, and 54 ribbies.
Ty Cobb Posted July 24, 2012 Report Posted July 24, 2012 The RANGERS lost Colby Lewis for the season. He needs elbow surgery that will take 9-12 months to rehad. Not good for their chances of returning to the World Series.
